More Girl News

Hokay, more news from this week, an ex colleague of mine, who I nearly had an affair with 8 years ago, found me on Hotornot and got in contact. (Note, she was married, I was single, she was 18, I was 25, and she started the thing) Since then, she's had two kids, got divorced, and is planning on getting married soon. And after all this time, I'm still gutted that I never got to have sex with her.

OK, I guess I'm shallow.

Yayy it's the weekend!!!!!

OK, so this is a bit late. Got a message from one of my friends on Tuesday asking me out. This is one of the friends I thought I'd alienated. (read got too drunk and offended in an extreme way).

Well, the day is tomorrow. Well, night. All I got to do is remember not to get too drunk.

On the work front, the "third month benefits" have started kicking in. Yayyy!!! Unfortunately I kinda got a minor bollocking today. Trying to plan a schedule on something I've never done before, and resource other people's time not knowing how long it's gonna take them and when the stuff is going to be in that they need to work on. Very complicated, very boring, and a totally new concept for me. I've never had to plan resourcing on a long term project, especially where the delivery date is next year. All the stuff I've worked on has been in a "firefighting" context, where we had to ship something within a week, and didn't know from one month to the next how many shipments had to be made.

An update

Hokay, what have I been doing? Hmm, Work. Lotsa work. And having a severe lack of motivation at the weekend to sort my place out.

Had a great compliment payed to me today. During a meeting today was told "Thank god we took you on when we did. We'd be really in the shit". So I think my job is safe for a while.

Speaking of which, my three month probationary is pretty much over, so I should be having my contract re-newed.

Dragon News

Did the shopping thing today. Well went out with every intention on buying some stuff. Didn't actually buy much, but at least it saved me some money.

One thing I did do was finally venture inside a tattoo studio. Checked out their tattoos, mainly looking at fantasy dragon designs and some tribal designs as well. I've kinda decided what I want to go for. I'd really want a dragon on my upper arm with a wing spreading out on the front and one on the back, and a tail going round the arm. Gonna be kinda big, and probly quite expensive.

On the other hand I might chicken out and have a small tribal design on the other arm.

More on the dragon front, I've finally found more dragon stuff that I like around here. More dragon candle holders, and a really cool dragon table. But one thing I really fancy, and have yet to find, is a dragon sword that I like.

Ah well, the hunt continues.

First Day

Well, finally got one of these live journal thingies. :-/

Anyhoo, at work, got lots to do, not enough time to do it, and the people I'm depending on aren't doing what they should be doing. But it's lunchtime and I'm in the mood for not caring about that, as the people in the upper echelons know the situation.

The weekend

Hokay, decided to do a "post-dated" entry.

Decided to go out and "celebrate" Easter Sunday at a bar I used to work at. I've spent far too much money, got far too drunk, and came home probably with fewer friends after it. I think I kinda offended a girl that I've fancied for ages, and I dunno if she'll ever speak to me again.

I think I had a chance with a few girls that were there that night, but it may have been my drunken mind confusing issues and not wishing to enter into the over-charged male hormonal mix that was evident.

Thinking about that night, I'm wondering how many of the people that I've known from there for ages I can properly classify as friends.

Ho hum.
