Bran Parkin Cookies
Ingredients
- 4oz/100g Margarine
- 2tbsp Golden Syrup
- 12oz/350g Self Raising Flour
- 8oz/225g Brown Sugar
- 2tsp Ginger
- 1tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
- 3oz/75g Kellogg's All Bran
- 1 Egg, beaten
- ½ tsp Salt
Method
- Melt the syrup and margarine together in a small pan
- Put the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl
- Add the egg and syrup mixture
- Mix into a smooth dough
- Make into 2 inch balls, flatten slightly
- Place on a greased baking tray and bake at 180C (350F) Gas Mark 4
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown
